| What amazing kids we have in the FCMB!! 4 “Superior” ratings this year at our competitions! That is a fantastic accomplishment! The dedication this group shows is second to none! The weather was a bit of a challenge but they pushed through it and did their best and their efforts were rewarded. Congrats to all our staff this year as well for without them none of this would be possible! A HUGE thank you to our volunteers this past weekend! From hauling props all over the place in the rain, to chaperoning in the cold, wet weather to hanging soggy plumes to dry for States – you are all appreciated more than you can imagine! The weekend ended with a wonderful WARM indoor concert today in the gym! One of my personal favorite events of the year! Lastly, one reminder – the marching band season continues on as long as our favorite football team is winning! Please remember that when picking up your marcher after an away event to please not park along the curb at the front of the school. FCMB End-of -the-Year BanquetJust a reminder, our annual FCMB Banquet is Sunday, November 11th from 3 pm – 8 pm. We encourage all of our marchers to attend with up to two guests (we are limited due to the size of our band). It’s a festive dinner and awards banquet followed by our annual scholarship Chinese Auction!! Chinese AuctionOur Chinese Auction is our sole fundraiser for our scholarships that we hand out at the end of the school year at our Spring Concert. All of the items raffled off in the Chinese Auction are donations! If you know of anyone that could help us out with a donation, please let us know.
