Congratulations!

Congratulations!!

Huge “CONGRATULATIONS” goes out to the FCMB for not only earning their “I” SUPERIOR rating at SMBF, but also getting straight ones on their score sheet!! What an amazing year they have had. We couldn’t be more proud!

CONGRATULATIONS also goes out to the football team! With their win against Strongsville this past Friday, they will continue on for week 2 of playoffs! We will be traveling to Brunswick stadium (again!) Friday night for a 7 pm kickoff between Mentor and Canton-McKinley. Mentor is the home team, so we will be playing the National Anthem at the game. Call time will be at 2:45 pm. As a special treat for all the bands successes this year, we will be feeding them pizza and salad on Friday before they leave!

If you wish to purchase tickets for the game, they will be available Wed., Thurs., and Friday from 8 am – 3 pm in the athletic office and on Thursday, 5 pm – 7 pm in the athletic office. Presale tickets are $8. For those of your that like to get the information on the games, and tickets ahead of time, please follow @MentorAthletics on Twitter, where Mr. Cassella posts the information as soon as he finds out!

Friday, November 2nd: Mentor vs Canton-McKinley at Brunswick 7pm Call time is 2:45 pm. Students will be eating before we leave.

FCMB Banquet

Just a few reminders regarding the banquet. Dressy attire is recommended, with following school dress code in mind. Doors will not open before 3 pm. Everyone is required to check in before you enter the banquet room. Check in will be in the lobby.

Raflle tickets for our Chinese Auction will be on sale through the beginning part of the banquet. We need just your name on the ticket. If you have some small address labels or a small stamper, that will work as well and make it quicker for you to get you name on your tickets. Baskets will be drawn at the end of the evening.

Seating: The tables towards the front of speaking area are reserved for STUDENTS ONLY! They will be the only tables that have centerpieces on them. Guests are asked to fill in the tables behind the students. Seating 550+ guests can be quite a challenge without assigned seating so we are asking for everyone’s patience. We ask that you arrive together if you are planning to sit together. When the majority of tables have been used, please assist our volunteers in finding seats for those that may have to come a bit late by letting us know where you have an extra seat. Tables will have 10 persons to each table. Please make sure if you have 2 seats open at your table they are together. Thank you so much!
