LCMEA Marching Band Festival is this Wednesday, September 26th!

Wednesday, September 26th at 7 pm, the FCMB will be performing at the Marching Band Festival here at Mentor High School. This event allows all of us Marching Band Fans to see and enjoy all of the Marching Bands in Lake County.
I hope to have the pre-ordered shirts by Tuesday to pass out at practice. Shirts will be available for purchase at the stadium but for Mentor students, they will need to send a family member as they typically do not leave the bleachers. They go fast so if your student didn’t purchase one, get there early to get one!! There is a small admission fee that goes to OMEA. We hope to see you there cheering on our favorite marching band!

Weekend information for Sept. 28-29th

Friday, September 28th

Call time is directly after school so students will need to bring whatever they need for Friday and Saturday with them to school. Mr. Poremba will be going over this more in detail with the students but packing should be kept to a minimum – pajamas or sleep wear, change of clothes for Saturday & toiletries. They should have money for concessions, food and anything they wish to purchase while at Polaris or the OSU stadium.
Students will be fed pasta and meatballs and salad before they leave for the Medina game. Students should make use of their 3rd quarter break at the Medina game to get something to eat as we will not be making a food stop after leaving the game. Breakfast will be served at the hotel and then they should have money for the remainder of their time at OSU concessions.
