This Week in Band! 08/16/2021
Despite the crazy weather at Cedar Point, I think the kids had a great day! They did awesome for such a quick warm up and looked great as they performed! This week’s schedule brings about some changes so please note these on your calendars!
Please continue drinking lots of water to stay hydrated, especially going into Friday and Saturday! Speaking of water and hydration - we are asking that every band student donates 1 case of water. This water is used during the 3rd quarter at our games for us and the visiting band and at various times during the season. Best time for drop off is before a home game at the F-wing garage. We appreciate it!!
PAY TO PARTICIPATE due Thursday, August 19th
Just a friendly reminder, the Pay to Participate DISTRICT fee is due on Thursday, August 19th, and must be paid in order for your marcher to participate in the FCMB. This is paid through Mentor Schools online payment, just as you do lunches and other school fees. Neither Music Mentors nor the directors collect this fee.
SPIRITWEAR
I have the first round of spirit wear ready to pass out. I will be at the school at 5:15 pm ready to hand out orders. I will only be there till the kids go to practice at 6 pm, but will pass out anything that left to the kids directly on Friday before the game.
I am turning in the final spirit wear order on Tuesday, August 17th to our vendor. So if you forgot to turn an order in and would like to , I need to have it in my hand by 6 pm tomorrow, August 16th.
* Checks are made payable to Music Mentors. Just a disclaimer, there is a $35 fee for returned checks.
