Music Mentors Information
Tomorrow is the monthly
Music Mentors meeting at 7 pm in the band room. Elections will take place for
Board positions for next year. The following are those that were nominated for
the positions. We hope to see you there!

Committee Chair positions for 2019-2020
As the school year is closing in upon us so quickly, preparations
for choosing next year’s committee chairs will soon be underway. Once the new
board is elected, they will be able to appoint the committee chairs for the new
season. If you are a current committee chairperson and would be willing to
continue on, please email [email protected] and let Angie know. If you
are a current chair who is in their last year but have someone you think would
be great to step in, please let us know! If you are interested in serving as a
chair for a committee, also email Angie and let her know what position you may
be interested in. The committees are as follows:
* Service Crew
* Hospitality
* Chaperones
* 50/50 raffle
* Publicity
* Uniforms
* Website
* Scholarship
Please note – I listed all committees here. I specifically know that my
Chaperone and Uniforms committee chairs are vacant. There has been some
interest expressed for these positions and people that have been referred to us
by the current chair but there is still time to let us know you are interested
as well, so that information can be relayed to the board for 2019-2020. The
rest of the committees have chairs that do not have graduating Seniors, but
again if you are interested let us know. Even if you are interested in a chair
position and may not be appointed to it, it’s great to know because it lends us
to a back-up should any emergency arise and it helps us to prepare for future
years as well.

Note: Percussion and Guard & Majorette clinics are open to those who will be in 9th-12th grade who are interested in performing with the FCMB. Audition material will be reviewed. Attendance is highly recommended!
Time to prepare for the 2019-2020 FCMB Season!
WOW! The time flew! It is time for clinics for the new marching band season! Clinics are open to any interested student that will be participating in marching band next year. So any 8th graders who are enrolled in marching band for next year this applies to you as well if you are interested in percussion (Drumline or Front Ensemble) or the FCMB Guard and Majorettes. If you know of any 8th graders interested, please spread the word! Also, any 8th graders (and their parents) enrolled in Marching Band for next year should subscribe to the weekly emails to ensure they are getting all the pertinent information for FCMB schedules that will be out soon!
Percussion
Percussion clinics will be April 3 and April 10th from 4-6 pm in the band room. More information to come
Guard and Majorettes
Please meet in the MHS Band room. Clinics will be outside or in the gym based on the weather so come prepared. Please wear tennis shoes and work out clothes. Contact Kelly Hoellein at [email protected] with any questions.
April 15th, Monday, 4-5:30 pm: Guard and Majorette clinic; (If you
are interested in captain, you should arrive at 3:15 pm)
April 16th, Tuesday, 4-5:30 pm: Guard and Majorette clinic
April 23rd, Tuesday, 4-5:30 pm: Majorette only clinic
April 25th, Thursday, 4-5:30 pm: Guard only clinic
May 3rd, Friday, 4-5:30 pm: Guard and Majorette clinic
May 9th, Thursday, 4-5:30 pm: Guard and Majorette Clinic
May 13th, Monday, 4-5:30 pm: OPEN GYM for PRACTICE
May 14th, Tuesday, 4-6 pm: AUDITIONS
