FCMB Information - Week of August 15th
We had an amazing first performance at Cedar Point! They looked and sounded awesome! Plus, it was a fantastic day to hang out at the park and enjoy some fun time before school starts! I hope all of the FCMB had a great time!
This week is our first home game vs Canton McKinley. Call time is at 4:30 pm. Summer uniform vs official band uniform to be determined and I will put out an email once that is decided. Students should eat before they come, and HYDRATE EVERY DAY.
IMPORTANT: The first home game can be a longer evening. The band stays till the end of the game, marches back to the school in parade block and they need time to return all 184 uniforms, and put away their instruments. The first home game is also a bit longer as the kids gather together with the directors after the game to receive something special for the season. Please have your student text you when they are ready to picked up spots you are not outside waiting for all that time.
Just a gentle reminder, that Pay to Participate fees are now posted in the parent portal. This fee needs to be paid by our first game, August 19th.
Lastly, I will be putting out 2 more emails within the next day. One in regards to Tag Day and one for Disney registration - please be on the lookout for them!
