CONGRATULATIONS!
I am amazed each and every day by these hard working kids!!! Congratulations to the FCMB as they not only qualified a second time with a “I” SUPERIOR rating, but they did it at the Buckeye Invitational! Kudos to them!! Way to show what Mentor is made of!!
I hope they had a great weekend away and made some great memories! I know I did!! I cannot tell you how honored I am to be able to work with these kids, and the band staff of the middle schools and high school!

Tuesday, Oct. 2nd: Rehearsal 6 – 8 pm
Wednesday, Oct. 3rd: Music Mentors Meeting 7 pm
Thursday, Oct. 4th: Rehearsal 2:35 – 4:30 pm
Friday, Oct. 5th:: MHS vs Shaker Hts! HOMECOMING! Call time is 4:30pm. Homecoming parade steps off at 5:30 pm (per the MHS website)

I just wanted to send an email out to ALL of our amazing band parents for their help this past weekend at the Medina game and the Buckeye Invitational at OSU. Your help in looking out for the well being of our students this weekend was very much appreciated. As I said to the kids before we left on Friday, “We can’t do trips like this without the cooperation of everyone involved and we definitely cannot do it without the help and support of our amazing parents!” We are so lucky to have all of the caring people that are associated with Music Mentors and the parents that give their time and efforts to support and care for our kids!
As a parent of a band member and a band director, I thank you for all you do!!
