2022-2023 Music Mentor Board Positions
At our April meeting, the Nominating Committee will be presenting their slate of officers for the 2022-2023 season. However, If you would like to nominate someone or yourself for a position in the event they are not on the slate the Nominating Committee presents, it must be done at the April meeting. In the past there have been requirements of attending 3 meetings, being active throughout the year and being a member of Music Mentors in good standing. With the past 2 years being out of the ordinary we will consider all volunteers.
Once all nominations have been brought forth at our April Meeting, those names will be placed on the ballot for May. In the event that there is only one person nominated for each position, a voice vote will be done at the May meeting.
The current officer positions are held by:
President: Angie Arslanian (willing to serve another year)
Vice-President: Amy Freeman (willing to serve another year)
Treasurer: Debbie Dittebrand/Julie Bates (in training) - Julie - willing to serve another year
Secretary: Kary Vogel (position will be open for the 2022-2023 year)
Committee Chairpersons:
The Committee Chairpersons are appointed positions, therefore, once final elections are held in May. Those position that are needed to be filled will be filled by the new Board. Again, if you have interest in seeing as a Committee Chairperson, you may email Angie Arslanian at [email protected]. She can answer your questions, and pass on your information when the time comes.

Spaghetti Dinner, April 12th 5-8 pm
As a Reminder, our Annual Spaghetti Dinner will be held on April 12th from 5-8 pm in the MHS Student Center. We offer dine in and carry out and we also accept walk-in's.
All band students should be returning their tickets and payments by Tuesday, April 5th so that we can give the caterer a head count. Checks can be made payable to "Music Mentors". All unsold tickets should also be returned at this time as walk in's will be accepted.
Jazz band will also be performing this evening. We will also have a variety of baskets to raffle off along with a 50/50 to help support our scholarship program! Please spread the word! We are striving for an amazing turn out! We truly appreciate all of your support! Raffle tickets will also be sold at our Music Mentors Meeting on April 6, 2022.

SENIORS!
Scholarship applications are due by April 8th at 3 pm to [email protected]. No late entries will be accepted. Once I receive your application, I will reply back to notify you it has been received. If you did not receive an email from me, that means I do not have it. I would recommend not waiting to the last minute. If you have questions, please reach out to [email protected]

We are getting ready for FCMB Season! Meeting Announced!
Please mark April 20th at 7 pm on your calendars if you have a student planning to march in the FMCB for the 2022-2023 season. There will be a parent meeting this night in the FAC to review pertinent information. We want to be able to get information out to you a bit earlier than we have in the past!
Percussion and Majorette/Guard Clinics will continue to be posted on the homepage of the website. Please look these dates over and make plans to attend if you plan on trying out for FCMB in these specific sections.
