By now you should have all received Mr. Poremba’s email regarding registration for the 2018-2019 marching band season. If you have not – don’t panic because if you reading this email you will have access to all of the information!
Please complete your online FCMB registration before June 22nd. It only takes a minute or so and helps us get our roster in order. Our website for all things “BAND” is www.musicmentors.org
On the home page you will find Mr. Poremba’s registration letter and the registration link!
Your next stop should be to visit the “Links/Forms” tab. There you will find several sections for you to find useful information to refer back to. You will use the “FCMB” section the most if you are in marching band. This information will continue to be updated over the next couple weeks as we finalize Spiritwear forms, Uniform Order forms, etc.
We are sooo excited to begin yet another fantastic season with all of our marchers!!
Music Reading Sessions
June 5th, 7th, 12th and 14th , 6-8 pm
Please come prepared with your instruments, pen, notebook and a water bottle for all the music reading sessions. Guard – come prepared with appropriate practice attire and shoes as well! Be prepared to meet lots of new friends, learn some great music and be part of one of the largest organizations at MHS! We can’t wait to see you all there!
Annual FCMB Car Wash June 16th, 11am – 2 pm, at KIA
Attention all students and parents! Our first official fundraiser for the new season will be held on June 16th at Kia in Mentor – our Annual Car Wash! Students – you can sign up in the music wing starting tomorrow!! We need lots of students for our car wash and we do have two different time slots! We are also in need of a few parents to help out as well. If you as a parent are interested in helping out, please email Angel Yanni at firstname.lastname@example.org.
OLD TOWELS NEEDED We are also in need of donations of old towels for this event! If you have any old towels to donate, please bring them any of the Music Reading sessions in June!!

The first couple weeks as new information becomes available, we try to get it out as soon as we can, so you may receive more emails in the beginning of the season. As band continues, emails come out usually on Sunday night with information for the week. If you have any questions regarding booster information, fundraisers, spiritwear, etc – please feel free to contact me, Angie Arslanian at President@musicmentors.org, or the appropriate committee. If your questions are regarding absences, conflicts, concerns regarding band itself – those questions need to be directed to Mr. Poremba himself and his email is email@example.com.
