| THIS WEEK IN BAND Monday, August 10th: Rehearsal: 4pm-7pm Tuesday, August 11th: NO rehearsal. Walk the schedule 5-7pm Wednesday, August 12th: NO rehearsal Thursday, August 13th: Rehearsal 4pm-6pm Friday, August 14th: NO rehearsal Saturday, August 15th: City Fest Parade, call time 8:30 AM CITYFEST PARADE, August 15thThe FCMB will participate in the parade at CityFest on Saturday, August 15th. Call time is 8:30 AM. Students should come dressed in their summer uniforms. Parade steps off at 10 am. The FCMB is bussed from the high school to Shore and the FCMB will march from Shore Middle School back to the high school. Students will be released after they arrive back to school. Please ensure your students are hydrating daily! They should eat as well before they arrive to school. |
| PAY TO PARTICIPATE FEE Due August 14th: The Mentor School District’s Pay to Participate fee is a district fee and is not associated with Music Mentors. This fee is paid directly to the school via the parent portal. Please note, this fee must be paid in order for your student to perform. Congrats Raffle Winners!! Again much thanks goes out to ALL those who worked the Lake County Fair! We appreciate all your support. |
| Water donations needed Music Mentors graciously asks for donations for cases of water for our band season. We ask that each student brings in one case of bottled water to help us out. Music Mentors uses bottled water for every home game for both our band and our visiting band. This can easily amount to over 300 water bottles per game. Depending on our supply, we sometimes take it to our away games and competitions. Water can be dropped off by your students during rehearsals, as well as by the F wing garage door prior to games. We appreciate your support! |
