Attention FCMB Families!
Parking has been going well at the fair thus far! We are more than halfway done and thank everyone who have come out to work a shift or several!
We are in desperate need for help on the weekend. With the gorgeous weather forecasted for Saturday and Sunday, the fair committee has advised they are anticipating 10,000 people each day. The below are the few shifts we need filled for the weekend:
- July 26th, Friday: Still in need of 2-3 persons from 9 -11:30 pm
- July 27th, Saturday: 2 persons from 5-7 pm and 3 persons from 8 – 9 pm
- July 28th. Sunday: 3 person form 12 – 2 pm; 3 persons from 3 – 6 pm, 1 person from 7 -9 pm
If you can find some time in your schedules this weekend to help us out, it would be greatly appreciated.
For those of you that have signed up, please plan on arriving for your shift around 10 min early. You will park in the back grassy lot with the little white tent. You can go in the tent and find a vest or flag if there is one. If you are a later shift, you may end up getting that from the person you are replacing. The FCMB parent lead will have a golf cart and meet you at the tent to take you to your assigned spot. Please be patient, as they are driving lot to lot.
Again, we cannot thank everyone enough for their donation of their time to support Music Mentors! These fundraisers afford us the ability to bring in guest instructors during the year and band camp, help with providing treats throughout band camp, supplies, and equipment just to name a few things! We will be raffling off 2 Pay to Participate fees and you earn chances for every hour you work the fair! Family and friends can also help out – they just have to provide the name of the student they are supporting for the PTP raffle! We will also sign for service hours for those students that need hours. They can send to [email protected], or [email protected]. We have come together as a group to fill close to 600 hours of volunteers hours for this fair and I am so thankful, but moreso, I am so proud to be a member of such an amazing organization.
