This week we are headed into our first Tuesday evening practice. Be prepared for the weather. Even though the weather is a bit unpredictable these days. stay hydrated!
It’s Middle School night on Friday at the game! Students should have their black dri wick shirts with them for the game.

Tuesday, September 3rd: Rehearsal 4 – 7 pm
Wednesday, September 4th: Music Mentors Meeting 7 pm in the band room
Thursday, September 5th: Rehearsal 2:45 – 5:00 PM
Friday, September 6th: MHS vs Erie McDowell at 7 pm; Call time 4:30 pm; Middle School Night.
Saturday, September 7th: TAG DAY! 8 AM

Hospitality
The sign up link is live for snack donations for Friday’s game. Keep in mind we will be providing snacks for the FMCB, our 8th grade middle schoolers as well as Erie McDowell’s band. Snacks can be dropped off at the FAC garage between 5:30 – 6:30 pm on Friday! We appreciate all your help!
WATER DONATIONS are still needed. If you have not dropped off a case of water, we are still accepting this and will be throughout the season. Water can be dropped off at the FAC garage as well, on Friday prior to 6 pm and can also be brought in with your students on rehearsal days.
50/50 Raffle
We are still seeking 50/50 sellers for our upcoming home games. This is a great way to help out the band! Remember, you get into the game for free, can still watch your student perform halftime and then are free after halftime.
Thanks so much to our volunteers that sold at our first home game. We had over $1700 in profit which is amazing! We want to keep those sales high so the more sellers, the better off we are! This week’s game should have a large crowd as it is middle school week, so if you can help out, please message Matt Armstrong at [email protected] .
Music Mentors Meeting, Wednesday, Sept. 4th
Please join us for our Music Mentors monthly meeting at 7 pm on Wednesday, September 4th in the band room. We would love to see some new faces and we will be able to answer any questions you may have about our various committees and volunteering! We hope to see you there!
TAG DAY, September 7th!
Tag Day is upon us! We are still in need of a few more drivers so if you have a couple hours to spare to assist us, it would be greatly appreciated! All drivers must be fingerprinted no later than Wednesday, September 4th! Please mention volunteering with the high school and the FCMB.
Students and drivers should report to the FAC starting at 7:30 so that you can pick up a donut and something to drink on us! Drivers will be assigned their routes and students and drivers will be given further instructions prior to heading out to canvas the neighborhoods.
We appreciate all your support with Tag Day! This is our primary fundraiser and we depend on this as our main source of income for the year. Please spread the word to all friends and neighbors that the band students will be coming around on Saturday morning! We will have a QR code which will link to our online donation site.
