Some highlights for the rest of the week!
Schedule updates:
- Wednesday, August 6th: Cedar Point, call time 7 am; students should come dressed!
- Thursday, August 7th: Rehearsal, 8 am – noon
- Friday, August 8th: Picture Day! NO REHEARSAL! Call time 8 am, Students will be released once their individual pictures are taken. there is no set release time. For those students that do not drive, plan accordingly for the student to contact their ride when they are done. Students were given picture forms yesterday (Monday).
CEDAR POINT
The FCMB will perform at Cedar Point on Wednesday, August 6th. Approximate performance time is 10:30 am! We are so excited to see them march in and perform for their first time! Please review the important information below:
- Call time is 7 am. We will leave Cedar Point at 8 pm.
- Students should arrive in their summer uniform. This consists of dinkles (band shoes), black “Docker” type pants (no jeans or yoga pants), tall black socks and the new red polo. Additionally, students need to bring a change of clothes for the park, including a change of shoes.
- Cedar Point is a CASHLESS park. You can find information on their website, www.cedarpoint.com .
- Students should eat before they arrive at school. I would recommend students bring a water bottle with them so they have something to drink for before the performance. Students are on their own for food for the day within the park. Ensure that they have funds.
- Season Pass Holders: You must have your Season Pass with you.
Pay to Participate Fee
The Mentor School District’s Pay to Participate fee is due on August 15th. This is a district fee and it is not associated with Music Mentors in any way. This fee is paid directly to the school via the parent portal with your student’s other fees. Please note, this fee must be paid in order for your student to perform.
