What’s new in band? MHS vs Ignatius, Sept. 5th, 2025, Snacks needed!

MHS vs. St. Ignatius Game, Sept 5th
Finally. our first home game is here! Call time is 4:30 PM. Students should eat before arriving back to call time.

As it is our first home game, students will receive their “Music Notes” for their home windows after the game. This, along with returning their uniforms and instruments, can take some time. Therefore, students will not be dismissed directly after the game. I would suggest students be in touch with their parents once they are in line for returning their uniforms.

Ticket information
Tickets for this Friday’s home football game vs St. Ignatius are now on sale online at www.mentorathletics.com under the “more” tab.
Presale tickets are as follows:
Reserved seats are $12
Adult General admission are $8
Student General admission are $5
Senior citizens (62 and over) and preschool children are free.
Presale tickets are available online until 5pm on Friday.
We will also have tickets available for purchase in the athletic office of Mentor High on Friday from 8am to 3pm with cash or credit card.

All general admission tickets at the gate are $10 cash or card. Ticket gates will open at 5:30pm on Friday.

Remember students are not permitted to bring any bags or drinks into the stadium on game night. All middle school students and elementary students attending the game must be accompanied by an adult.

3rd Quarter Meet and Greet snacks needed
The FCMB continues their tradition of providing snacks for our band and the visiting band during 3rd quarter of the football game. Below is a sign up Genius link where you can volunteer to bring snacks. We appreciate all your support!

Tag Day Is Saturday, September 6th
Thank you to everyone whom has volunteered to drive for this annual fundraiser event! We are still in need of drivers!!! If you are willing to drive and have been fingerprinted OR can be fingerprinted tomorrow (Wednesday) between 11:30 am – 4:30 pm, please email vp1@musicmentors.org . With that being said, all those that have volunteered to drive, will be assigned a route.

Drivers and students should report to the FAC no later than 8 am on Saturday. We will be there as early as 7:30 to start assigning routes. Enjoy a cup of coffee or juice and donut on us! We will have a short meeting in the FAC to go over our standard safety guidelines before we send anyone out the door!

We appreciate everyone taking a few hours out of a busy Saturday to help support the band programs!
