This Week in Band!

We hope everyone had a great Band Camp Week! We loved seeing your smiling but tired faces, and hope you all enjoyed your treats. Wednesday’s dinner and inflatables, and of course, Pelican’s snowballs!

Summer band continues this week following the schedule below. Remember, to continue to stay hydrated, and eat a good breakfast before you leave home! Remember to bring your jug of water and don’t forget your SUNSCREEN!

Schedule

Monday, August 5th: Rehearsal 8 am – noon
Tuesday, August 6th: Rehearsal 8am – noon (Student pick up may be delayed a bit, as the students will be loading their instruments onto the semi directly after rehearsal.)
Wednesday, August 7th: Cedar Point! Details below!
Thursday, August 8th: Rehearsal 8 am – noon
Friday, August 9th: Rehearsal 8 am – noon; PICTURES! (Forms will go out early in the week!)

Cedar Point. August 7th, 2024

It’s our first performance and how exciting that it is once again at Cedar Point! This is a favorite of our students and we hope this year is no different!

Few things to remember:
* Eat before you come to school.
* Wear your summer uniform to school – Red polo, tall black socks, Dinkles and black, “docker-like” pants – no yoga or stretch pants.
* Bring a change of clothes and shoes,
* Bring money for food and souvenirs, but keep in mind Cedar Point is cashless.
* Call time is 7:15 am, we will leave the park at 8 pm.
* If you are a season pass holder, you MUST have your season pass with you.
