Tag Day is around the corner, September 10th!
The Mentor High School band programs along with members of Memorial Middle School Band and Shore Middle School Band are holding the EXCITING ANNUAL TAG DAY and WE NEED YOU! For this event to be successful, we are asking for your assistance in covering the entire Mentor area. This event is MANDATORY FOR ALL HIGH SCHOOL BAND STUDENTS. The more volunteers that we have, the better support and successful outcome we will have.
Tag Day is SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2022 at 8:00AM at Mentor School’s Fine Arts Center. At that time, students and parent volunteers will be given detailed instructions for Tag Day. Students will walk door-to-door on specified routes to ask for donations for our MENTOR SCHOOL’S BAND PROGRAMS. We are requesting parents to please volunteer to drive 2-5 students (depending on the length of the assigned route and your car size) and to stay with their students as they walk their assigned route. The safety of our children is of the utmost importance.
Fighting Cardinal Marching Band students should wear their marching red polo shirt and black pants. All other students please wear a Mentor School shirt or a red shirt. Students should bring a water bottle and wear comfortable shoes for walking. ALL HIGH SCHOOL BAND STUDENTS must complete this Google form, even with an excused absence, by FRIDAY, AUGUST 26, 2022.. All absences are to be emailed to Mr. Poremba at [email protected]
Please Note: All volunteers having any contact with our children are required to be fingerprinted per Mentor Schools Policy. Tag Day Drivers and Volunteers in any capacity must be fingerprinted.
Fingerprinting must be completed at the Mentor Board of Education office.
