LCMEA Marching Band Festival

The LCMEA marching band festival will be held on Wednesday, September 20th at 7 pm at Mentor High School. Marching bands from our Lake County area schools will come and perform their halftime shows. This is a great opportunity for family and friends to see the FCMB perform, along with our neighboring school bands. There is an admission donation at the gate of $5.00. These proceeds go towards the LCMEA scholarship fund.

Those students that preordered shirts will be able to pick them up after practice Monday, 9/18/2023. Shirts will be on sale at the festival as well. Call time will be 5 pm for the FCMB, and they will perform last.

We hope to see everyone there!

Perkins Marching Band Competition, 9/23/2023

The FCMB will perform their 1st competition of the season at Perkins High School in Sandusky this Saturday, 9/23/2023, at 7:30 pm. Call time is 2 pm. Students should eat before they arrive and bring money for concessions. Please ensure marchers have their dri fit shirts, tall black socks, clean dinkles and their white gloves. Marchers should also come with their hair already up so that it all goes in the hat.

For those planning to attend the competition as a spectator, please plan your time accordingly. You will want to leave plenty of time to be able to park, and find a seat in the stands. Competitions are heavily attended. Entrances/exits to the bleachers are blocked off while a band is performing to minimize distractions. It is best to be in your seat in the bleachers 20-30 minutes before our scheduled time. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for students and children. Concessions will be offered.
