Congratulations to all of our bands for their awesome performance on May 5th, 2022. A special Congratulations to all of students who earned awards for their hard work and efforts this year.

Volunteers needed for the Lake County Fair!
We are need of both student and adult volunteers for parking assistance for the Lake County fair from July 26-31st! This is a HUGE endeavor but with 180-200 band students we should be able to fill these volunteer slots quickly! If everyone took one shift, we can staff this completely to assist in our fundraising efforts and can earn thousands of dollars in the short span of a week! Please consider helping us out! At our May meeting, elections were held and the following people were elected to Music Mentors board positions for the upcoming school year:

We are still in need of LOTS of volunteers for the new year! We can find something for everyone to do and are hoping to see so many people sign up and join us! Please visit the "About Us " link on the Music Mentors home page and email the committee chairperson to volunteer or to ask questions!
We are so excited to get started for the new school year. Our next meeting, our new Board will preside over the meeting. We will also set the budget for the 2022-2023 Year. Hope to see you all there!

This Week in Band:
May 23th, Monday: Shore Spring Concert 7 pm
May 24th, Tuesday: 7 pm, Memorial Spring Concert
May 25th, Wednesday: FCMB Percussion Auditions
May 30th, Monday: Memorial Day parade; Call time 9am, Band performs at the cemetery at 10 am and will wear summer uniforms. Band members will return by 11 am. This is a smaller group of students from the 10th and 11th grades. Please reach out to Mr. Poremba with any questions you may have.
