What a fun filled but LONG day yesterday! The kids looked great during the Fox 8 performance! They were so excited! I hope you were all able to catch some of the Fox 8 morning show to catch a glimpse of our wonderful performers! Then they stuck out the school day and were ready for the Elyria game ! They started the day off with Spudnuts and some juice and before we went to Elyria, they had some pizza, salad and some snacks! They performed a great halftime show at Elyria and then, just like that, the final regular week of football was over….BUT, thanks to our Cards -Mentor is in the playoffs! We will have one last game at home on Friday, November 3rd but who we will play is still to be determined. Please remember, the FCMB continues to travel to football games until the end of the season for the Cardinals.

Event Information for the Week:
Indoor Concert, Sunday Oct 29:
Sunday, Indoor Concert in the gym at 3 pm. Call time is 2 pm. Attire: black pants, red polos and dinkles. This is a perfect opportunity for family and friends to come watch the band perform music from both the football and competition shows and their various stand tunes without having to try and make it to a football game.
Raffle tickets for the Scholarship banquet will be sold as well at the Indoor Concert. If you would like to get your tickets early, so that you can put your name on them and have them ready to go for the banquet, get them NOW!
Prices are as follows: 1 ticket for $ 0.50, 3 tickets for 1.00, 18 for $5.00, 42 for $10 and 90 for $20! All proceeds goes towards our end of the year scholarships.
Playoff Game, Friday, November 3:
Call time is 5 pm. Our opponent is yet to be determined as there are games still to be played this evening.
As the weather is changing, please make sure they have their layers with them!
State Marching Band Finals, Saturday, November 4:
Call time is 1:15 pm. Performance time is 6:45 pm at Brunswick High school. Please make sure your marcher has cleaned their gloves, has their black shirt for under their uniforms, their dinkles are clean and they have TALL black socks. They may layer under their uniforms if it is cold but stick to black layers. They should eat before they come to practice and they should bring a water bottle and some snacks.
We hope to see and hear many of our favorite supporters cheering us on in the stands! Please arrive early enough to give yourself plenty of time to be seated in the stands prior to our performance time.
FCMB BANQUET, November 12, 3 – 8 pm:
RSVP’S: All reservations were due this past Thursday. There are approximately 60 marchers without a reservation. If your marchers would still like to attend, the reservation form and payment can be turned in tomorrow at the Indoor Concert. This will be the last day to turn in RSVP’s as the count is due to LaMalfa on Monday.
