We have a full week at band this week! Lots going on!
Schedule:
Tuesday, October 15th: Rehearsal 2:45 – 5:30 PM
Thursday, October 17th: Rehearsal 2:45 – 5:15 PM.
Friday, October 18th: No School! MHS vs Strongsville at 7pm; SENIOR NIGHT! Call time is 4:30 pm. Students should eat prior to arriving.
Saturday, October 19th: Brunswick Competition, Call time 9:15 AM, Performance Time 2:45 PM; Please follow the below link for detailed parking and event information: Brunswick Sound Spectacular Information
Upcoming Events:
* Indoor Concert, Sunday, October 27th at 3 pm, Call time is 2 pm in summer uniform
* State Marching Band Finals is November 2nd at Medina High School at 5:30 pm pm, Call time 11 am
SENIOR NIGHT INFORMATION
There are still 10ish Senior families who have not completed the questionnaire linked below. Please complete this no later than tomorrow, October 15th. Thank you!
Senior Parents,
It is our privilege to invite you to attend the annual Senior Night for the Fighting Cardinal Marching Band. On this special night, we honor the senior members of the band and recognize their parents. This year’s Senior Night will be Friday, October 18, 2024, at the last home football game (vs Strongsville ). Our senior parent recognition will take place with the pre-game show. If siblings are present for this special night, we ask them to sit in the stadium seats.
It is best to purchase your tickets prior to the game online. You can do this up to a week in advance at www.mentorathletics.com. We will meet at 6:00 pm at the south gate to receive any last minute instructions. A photograph will be taken of you and your Senior Band Member at some point after you walk across the field. It is very important that you stay in line with your student until you are officially dismissed. This will ensure that every senior band member and their parent(s) gets their picture taken and will be presented with a keepsake photo from Senior Night at the end of the season.

Hospitality Donations needed for Senior night
We have a visiting band for this Friday’s game to provide snacks for. Please see the below link to sign up to assist with donations for third quarter snacks.
You can drop off snacks for 3rd quarter on Friday at the FAC garage door from 5:00 – 6:30 pm.We appreciate your support!
