Congratulations to the FCMB on another amazing performance at the Norton competition! We are so proud to announce that they received a rating of “I – Superior” yet again!

Schedule:

Tuesday, October 8th: Rehearsal 4 – 7 pm

Thursday, October 10th: Rehearsal 2:45 – 5:00 pm.

Friday, October 11th: NEOEA Day! No School! MHS @ Brunswick at 7pm; Call time is 3:00 pm. Students should eat prior to arriving.

Upcoming Events:

Saturday, October 19th: Competition at Brunswick High School. This is now an earlier competition and our performance time is approximately 2:45 pm, Call time 10 am

State Marching Band Finals is November 2nd at Medina High School around 5:00 pm, Call time 11 am

Volunteer Reminders

We want to thank everyone for all their time and volunteers hours thus far. Just sending a few reminders to all as I have received several questions about siblings.

Due to liability reasons, for both Music Mentors as well as the Mentor School District, children and siblings are not permitted to travel on buses nor volunteer to assist the band.

Although, we truly love the enthusiasm our families have shown, unfortunately, we cannot accommodate siblings to be on the field, the buses, the semi, or assisting as a volunteer. The last thing we would want to happen is someone be injured, let alone a child. We hope that you understand our main priority is the safety of not only our students and staff, but our volunteers and their families as well.
